Topic- How to change a trial account user to pilot admin account?

  • Step 1: Login in to LMS.
  • Step 2: Click on “Manage Users.”
  • Step 3: Click on “Manage Group.”
  • Step 4: Click on “Edusmart.”
  • Step 5: Click on “Pilots.”
  • Step 6: Click on “Add Group.”
  • Step 7: Add the district Name and click on ‘Save.’
  • Step 8: Click on “Manage Group” to Add “School Group.”
  • Step 9: Click on “Edusmart.”
  • Step 10: Click on “Pilots.”
  • Step 11: Click on “Test District.”
  • Step 12: Click on “Add Group.”
  • Step 13: Add the school name and click on “Save.”
  • Step 14: Click on “Manage Group.”
  • Step 15: Click on “Edusmart.”
  • Step 16: Click on “Pilots.”
  • Step 17: Click on “Test District.”
  • Step 18: Click on “Test School.”
  • Step 19: Click on “Add Group.”
  • Step 20: Add Group Details “Admin” in both fields and “Save.”

NOTE: When you are done, you may use the “Add Another Group” button to add another teacher or student.


  • Step 21: Add Group Details “Teacher” in both fields and “Save.”
  • Step 22: Click on “Search User.”
  • Step 23: Paste the trial User ID in the “Search Text Column.”
  • Step 24: Select the User ID box and email ID box.
  • Step 25: Click on “Search.”
  • Step 26: Click on “Edit.”
  • Step 27: Changing Role from Teacher to Admin and removing “Demo Group and Demo Product."
  • Step 28: Click on “Modify Group.”
  • Step 29: Click on “Browse user.”
  • Step 30: Click on “Edusmart.”
  • Step 31: Click on “Pilots.”
  • Step 32: Click on “Test District.”
  • Step 33: Click on “Test School.”
  • Step 34: Select “Admin” box and click “Home” to go back and add "All School Admin."
  • Step 35: Click “Schools.”
  • Step 36: Select “All School Admin” box and click “Save & Next.”
  • Step 37: Click on “Update.”
  • Step 38: Click on “Manage Group” to add Product to “Admin Group.”
  • Step 39: Click on “Edusmart."
  • Step 40: Click on “Pilots.”
  • Step 41: Click on “Test District.”
  • Step 42: Click on “Test School.”
  • Step 43: Click on Admin - “Products” icon.

NOTE: The “Products” icon looks like a padlock on the right-side of the screen under “Actions.”


  • Step 44: Click on “Select Products” box(es).
  • Step 45: Click on “Assign Products” button at the bottom of the page.
  • Step 46: Click on “Manage Group” to add product to “Teacher Group.”
  • Step 47: Click on “Edusmart.”
  • Step 48: Click on “Pilots.”
  • Step 49: Click on “Test District.”
  • Step 50: Click on “Test School.”
  • Step 51: Click on Teacher - “Products” icon.

NOTE: The “Products” icon looks like a padlock on the right-side of the screen under “Actions.”


  • Step 52: Click on “Select Products” box(es).
  • Step 53: Click on “Assign Products” button at the bottom of the page.
  • Step 54: Provide Access Path for the Group.
  1. Admin (How to give access path for an admin group?) 
a. Click on Edit.

b. Click on “Update Access Path”.
c. Click on Edusmart.
d. Click on District.
e. Select the school.
f. After selecting the School, click on UPDATE.


  2. 
Teacher (How to give access path for teacher group?)

a. Click on Edit .
b. Click on “UPDATE.”
